Features

  • Lvl 1 Expertise. Choose two of your skill proficiencies (or one skill and thieves' tools). Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make using either of those proficiencies.
  • Lvl 1 Sneak Attack. Once per turn, deal extra damage to a creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the roll, or if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it. The extra damage scales with level.
  • Lvl 1 Thieves' Cant. You know thieves' cant, a secret mix of dialect, jargon, and code that lets you hide messages in seemingly normal conversation.
  • Lvl 1 Weapon Mastery. You gain the mastery property of two weapon types you're proficient with, swappable when you finish a long rest.
  • Lvl 2 Cunning Action. You can take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action as a bonus action on each of your turns.
  • Lvl 3 Roguish Archetype. Choose an archetype that grants features at 3rd level and higher.
  • Lvl 5 Cunning Strike. When you deal Sneak Attack damage, you can forgo some of the damage dice to impose an additional effect, such as disarming or hindering the target.
  • Lvl 5 Uncanny Dodge. When an attacker you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack's damage against you.
  • Lvl 7 Evasion. When subjected to an effect that allows a Dexterity saving throw for half damage, you instead take no damage on a success and only half on a failure.
  • Lvl 11 Reliable Talent. Whenever you make an ability check that lets you add your proficiency bonus, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
  • Lvl 14 Devious Strikes. Your Cunning Strike options expand to include more severe additional effects.
  • Lvl 15 Slippery Mind. You gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws.
  • Lvl 18 Elusive. No attack roll has advantage against you while you aren't incapacitated.
  • Lvl 20 Stroke of Luck. You can turn a miss into a hit, or a failed ability check into a success by treating the d20 roll as a 20. Usable once per short or long rest.
