Getting started

Mithrandiil is a companion for tabletop roleplaying games built on the fifth-edition rules. You can read the rules without an account. With one, you can build characters, write your own content, and run or join campaigns.

Your account

Choose Register at the bottom of the sidebar and enter your name, a username, your email address and a password of at least eight characters. We send a link to confirm the address; until you confirm it, notifications can’t reach you by email.

Forgot your password? Choose Forgot password on the sign-in page and follow the link in the email.

Settings

Open the account menu (your name at the bottom of the sidebar) and choose Settings. There you can:

  • change your email address or password,
  • pick a colour theme,
  • choose your preferred ruleset, the edition the lists open in,
  • decide which notifications also arrive by email (invites and session starts do unless you turn them off),
  • delete your account.

Dashboard

The Dashboard in the account menu starts with what needs your attention (a session that is live, an invite to answer, a character you haven’t finished), then your latest notifications, your characters, and your worlds and campaigns.

Notifications

The bell next to the search box counts what you haven’t read yet: invites, things your DM revealed to you, session reminders and, in combat, when it’s your turn. Open the bell to read them, or go to the full list.

What’s new

When we ship something new, a dot appears on the account menu. What’s new lists the changes in German and English.

Your collections

  • My Favorites: star any page with the heart button to find it again here.
  • Recently Viewed: the pages you opened last. You can clear the list.
  • My Tags: tag your characters and world content, then see everything with the same tag together.

Support

Found a bug or have an idea? Choose Submit a ticket in the account menu. It reaches the team by email.
