Who can do what

What you can do depends on who you are on a given page. The same person can be a DM in their own world and a player in a friend’s campaign.

  • Guest: not signed in. Reads the rules and this handbook.
  • Play link: joined a session through a guest or spectator link from the DM, without an account.
  • Account: signed in. Owns their characters, homebrew, favorites and tags.
  • Player: accepted into a campaign. Sees that campaign and, of its world, what the DM revealed.
  • DM: owns a world, and so runs its campaigns. Sees and changes everything in it.

In the table, own means “only on things they created themselves” and partly comes with a note that says how far.
