Worlds

A world is your setting. Whoever creates a world is its DM. Being a DM isn’t an account type: it means you own that world, and so you run its campaigns.

Everything in a world starts out hidden from players. You decide what they see, either by marking a page visible to players or by revealing it to one campaign or one player (see Reveals).

Worlds

Choose My Worlds → New world. The world page collects everything in it: people, places, factions, maps, tables, the calendar and the campaigns played there.

NPCs

The people of your world, with a portrait, a description and DM notes that players never see. Generate creates a quick NPC (name, species, occupation, appearance, a quirk, a motive, a voice and a secret) when you need one on the spot.

Locations

Places, nested inside each other: a tavern inside a city inside a region.

Factions

Guilds, cults and kingdoms, with their members, headquarters and how they stand towards each other.

Relationships

Who knows, trusts, loves or hates whom. The relationship graph draws your NPCs and factions with those links between them. Players see their campaign’s graph, limited to what they’ve been shown.

Maps

  • World maps are generated: terrain, rivers, lakes, states, cities and roads, with sliders to shape them. Zoom into a region for a closer map, or open a city to plan it ward by ward.
  • Battle maps are images you upload for encounters. Players see them only on the play board, during a fight.

Random tables

Your own roll tables: weather, rumours, loot, wandering monsters. Roll them yourself, or share one with the table for the current scene so the players can roll it too.

Calendar

Give the world its own calendar (months, weekdays, years). Each campaign keeps its in-world date and a clock you can start, stop and advance. Place events on the calendar; players see the ones you reveal.
